The Ryzen 3 3300x has all four cores on a single CCX (CPU core complex) inside a CCD (core chiplet die) with 4 + 0 configuration, whereas the Ryzen 3 3100 has dual CCX with two cores for every CCD with 2 + 2 configurations.
