All Game tests run at 1024/768 32bit, Quality Settings in Control Panel. Max IQ settings in Console unless otherwise noted. I decided to use FEAR & HL2 since they both have a built in Benchmark, plus this way I can figure out best performance/ IQ settings.
FEAR MAX SETTINGS / Soft Shadows OFF
FEAR 2xAA / 8X Anisotropic
HL2 - Lost Coast MAX SETTINGS (4x/16x):
HL2- Lost Coast 2xAA / 8X Anisotropic
What can one say, but worth the performance especially in the budget arena, besides gaming on a budget one should not have to resort to anything less than 1024x768 resolutions. I hope this was helpful, and probably would make a decent Christmas gift for someone without the huge price tag and still give great performance at around a $100-$105 bucks US$. Price performance ratio just can't be beat, especially for the casual gamer.
