You Can Now Stream NVIDIA’s GeForce Now Through Safari On iOS Devices

While Apple has relaxed its rules regarding game streaming services on its iOS devices, it is still somewhat restrictive as it would require companies to individually submit the games that would be playable through the service. The idea is that Apple wants to ensure that the games meets its own set of rules and regulations.

However, this isn’t particularly realistic as app libraries can change, and games can be removed, which is why if you’re an iOS user looking to stream games on your mobile device, you’ll be pleased to learn that NVIDIA has found a workaround through Safari. The company has announced that its GeForce Now game streaming service will now be playable through Safari on an iPhone or iPad.

Because game streaming does most of the heavy lifting in remote server, all you’ll need is a compatible device and a steady internet connection and you should be good to go. You will also need to sign up for a GeForce Now account, but once you’ve done that, you should be able to start streaming games through Safari.

There are 750 games available on GeForce Now, which is why like we said, it would be unrealistic to expect that all 750 games be submitted to Apple, especially if there might be instances that some games are rejected for whatever reason. The workaround through Safari seems to be a good compromise and it also seems to be one that Google is looking to take advantage of for its Stadia service in the next few weeks.
