Invite people to sign up for your newsletter, and send special offers to email subscribers so they are regularly reminded to visit your site. Offer special coupons that can only be redeemed through your website.

Just remember: DO NOT SPAM. This is illegal in many countries, and it will not win your customers.

Social Media Promotion

Social media is a great way to get your site noticed as people naturally interact, post links, and comment on other people’s posts and comments. Social networking sites, social bookmarking sites, blogs, and forums are all types of social media, and each can be used in a specific way to generate traffic to your site.

Setting up business pages on sites like Facebook and LinkedIn is a great way to get news about your site out there. As friends and customers comment on your services or products, it will arouse the interest of others. A business blog is also a great way to generate interest. If you offer regular and useful content that is relevant to your industry, people will take note and link to it.
